IS ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR GOD? - STOP HELPING GOD

(Jer 32:27)

Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
I have had a difficult last three weeks with an issue which sort of affected my work and yesterday I was so overwhelmed with work and things I almost burst out crying in frustration. My colleagues all complained they had never seen me that stressed before. I had some assignments which I was finding difficult to do and I was almost tempted to lie to my boss or cook up some story about the assignment I had not been able to complete. In my distress, I went to church and prayed and when I came back to the office, I sat still for a little while, still feeling a bit overwhelmed, and a gentle voice whispered in my heart…”Is anything too hard for me? yes even in your work I can help you” When God whispered that in my heart, I felt calm. I organized myself, found the issue I had and explained to my boss. I told him I was sorry for my mistake and he took it in good stride.
Now however, I feel an obligation to remind us all that the God we serve is more than enough and does not need our help. Many of us allow God into our lives but tell Him some areas are ‘No Go’ areas. Yes God, can you bless my finances but leave the issue of marriage to me? Or can you get me a job but leave the issue of a child to me?
How many men have thought they’ve suffered too much and made a pact with the devil to get rich? How many women have gone to witch doctors to get children? How many of us succumb when our friends or family tell us…”You are getting old. If marriage is not forth coming, you can just find a man and get a child with him” Is that God’s will in your life? Who told you that you were getting too old for God? Please STOP HELPING GOD. Sarah decided to help God when she thought His promise would not come to pass, and the result of her unbelief is still plaguing the world today as the Arabs and Israelites continue fighting. King Saul did not wait on the Lord when God gave Him a command and the result was the loss of God’s presence in his life.
What did God tell Sarah when she laughed at herself thinking she was too old to have a child?
Gen 18:14 Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
God is the same yesterday and today. What He did for Sarah He can also do for you. We must all know so many couples, who had sought children for years and God gave them a child after 25 years of marriage. Why do you think it cannot be you?
One thing I know that God does not like is a complainer and a worrier. Have you ever seen a little child worrying about where their bread will come from? Or worrying if they will have rice to eat the next day? No, because they know they have a father or mother who always provides. They just know that they will not go hungry as long as their father is there. So why can we not have that childlike dependence on God? How does all your worrying and anxiety help your situation? If your child is sick, and you are worried, does it help them get well? If you are anxious about a situation in your life, does it help make it better? Worry instead steals your peace and shows a lack of faith. If there is a situation and you have the solution, it means you need not be worried. God knows the plans He has for you and they are plans to prosper you (Jeremiah 29:11)

Personally, I do not like complainers. They give me a headache. People who complain about everything are unhappy people who want to infect others around them with their unhappiness. Oh my husband has done this or that…my child has done this or that…my boss is this or that…and what are you? I wonder what the earth would have been like had Jesus not come to ransom us from the old law. For God’s anger used to be greatly kindled against complainers who could so quickly forget what He did for them. (Php 4:6) Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
When Israel complained that they wanted meat, God said He would provide. Moses used his physical eyes and brain and did a calculation and he could not understand how this could come to pass. Even Moses himself had quickly forgotten that that same God had parted the red sea for the children of Israel to cross over a very short while back.

Num 11:21 and Moses said, the people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand footmen; and thou hast said, I will give them flesh, that they may eat a whole month.

Num 11:22 Shall the flocks and the herds be slain for them, to suffice them? Or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, to suffice them?

Num 11:23 And the LORD said unto Moses, Is the LORD'S hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not.
Is the Lord’s hand waxed too short? Have you forgotten that God parted the red sea for the Israelites to go through and fed them with manna from heaven for forty years? Then who are you or what is that problem that God cannot solve? Have you forgotten that God held the sun still for Joshua to fight and win his battle? That God turned back time to prove to Hezekiah that He would not change His words? 2Ki 20:10 And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten degrees.

2Ki 20:11 And Isaiah the prophet cried unto the LORD: and he brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz.
When you submit yourself to Jesus, do so in every single area of your life. If you stay back and worry about other things, then you are telling Jesus you do not trust in Him fully. What is that challenge in your life that gives you sleepless nights? Stop worrying about it and put your trust in God.
You may be ready for marriage but maybe God is still preparing your husband for you or working to rid you of some bad characters first.

You may be ready to have a child, but maybe God wants you to first take care of some other child or children first.

You may want a job, but maybe God wants you to find Him first so that you may be excellent at your work place.

You may have an accident or infirmity but maybe God wants to use that for your healing so others may see His glory.

You may have all sorts of issues but maybe God wants you to learn to depend on Him coz His grace is sufficient for you.

You may be persecuted, but God wants to see if you will follow Him or man.

Your husband or wife may be giving you trouble, but maybe God is teaching you tolerance.

You may have been waiting for a breakthrough but maybe God is teaching you patience.

You may be praying for prosperity but maybe God wants to see how faithful you are first with the little He has given you.

As a parent guides His child and prepares for his/her future, so too does God guide us and He has already prepared our future for us. He already knows that 10 years from now, this is a challenge you may have in your life and He has already programmed the solution. Before He formed us in the womb, He knew us through and through. Just trust in Him.

(Psa 27:14) Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

  2. God is able to do anything, but the question is will he? How do I know it is the best way, or he will help or bless me? You don't.

  3. Good...but lacks some sense of love. Some experiences are horrible. When God asked Sarah whether anything was hard for him he wasnt looking for answer...because Sarah didn't know...she was at bottom

HOPE STAYED

When Pandora's box was opened, all else went out but Hope stayed.

In our lives today, too many people need to know that all hope is not lost. They need to know that when they trust in God, he will do great things for their lives.

In Cameroon, many are losing hope. Many have forgotten that God is bigger than anything that may come against us. As God gives me strength and resources, i hope this blog will offer the much needed words of encouragement that we all need.

I will also be posting jobs from time to time so all may check in and know what's going on.

God bless you all
