On Friday i had to meet a friend for lunch and trying to take the shortest route, i instead found myself behind a forklift vehicle on the ports road and thought there was traffic ahead moving at about 10km/hour and i was getting frustrated since i was running late.
But then i realised that most of the cars which were queued behind me started over taking me and the forklift and moving on. Before i realised that it was only the forklift that was slowing everyone down, at least 30 vehicles had left me behind. I was so mad.
The cars which were behind had looked ahead and seen the road was clear. They knew the end and so could forge ahead confidently meanwhile since i was stuck behind the forklift, i could not see what was ahead of me and thus thought something else was slowing it down.
Many times in life, we allow life's seemingly road blocks to shut out our peripheral visions and forget that there might be a way forward. God said in His word in Jeremiah 29:11, that He knows the plans He has for us and they are plans to prosper us. And i know that i serve a God who does not lie! If you believe in the bible then, believe that as a believer in Christ Jesus, the end will always be awesome.
When you know the word of God, then you should know the end and never fret or worry unneccessarily. Jesus had already brought all our pain and sorrows to an end on the cross. When we worry about our future, then we question the power in the blood of Jesus.
My God told me that He shall supply all of my needs so i worry not about my finances.
My God told me that by Jesus' stripes i was healed so i worry not about my health.
My God told me that no weapon formed against me shall prosper so i give no second thoughts to those who dare hate me.
My God told me that I will not die but live to proclaim His goodness so i will not fear death.
My God told me that if i repent of my sins and believe in Jesus, I will be saved, so i am assured of what eternity holds for me.
I know the end, so i can overtake life's obstacles at anytime without any fear of a collision because I know Jesus had cleared the path for me.
